My daughter-in-law just became a partner in her law firm. They let her work 3 days a week and if something comes up with my 2 grandsons she works from home. She’s terrific at what she does and the firm appreciates it. I know this is probably the exception and not the rule but when she joined this law firm she let them know that the boys were a priority and she wouldn’t be a slave to her job. She said that she saw too many female lawyers whose kids barely knew them.
Wanting beautiful girls or “bad boys” does not equate to ATTRACTING or LANDING beautiful girls, etc...
Women would get more respect if they would elect more leaders and problem solvers like Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann. And fewer whiny airheads like Barbara Boxer and Patty Bin Murray.
well, yeah. that kinda goes without saying.
i’m attracted to meghan mccain.. but i’ll probably never land her. just like i’ll prolly never land megan fox, michelle rodriguez, rose mcgowan, lennon murphy.. etc. :P
of course, i’ll also probably never MEET any of them either, so that a slight impediment.
Amazing thing is that women who look like Rose McGowan are not that uncommon. And they don’t all carry the same baggage.

In the early ‘90’s I and my daughter spent Easter weekend on Maui and attended Mass and sat in the back row. Right before the service began, Arnold, Maria, and their two young daughers slipped into the pew next to us (and yes, I did hold hands with Arnold during the Lord’s Prayer).
Throughout the sermon, Maria chewed on a strand of her hair and yes, by that I mean she took a strand of her below-shoulder-length hair and played with it and put it into her mouth and chewed on it for quite an extended period of time, just like a very small child might do.
I thought this was very strange behavior by a grown woman. She looked unhealthy and distracted to me and did not impress me as a happy person in any way, as she never smiled.
BTW, Arnold put a $100 bill in the collection plate and, frankly, I didn’t get the sense that he was particularly happy either, but I did get a sense that he was quite devout.
you haven’t met some of the girls i’ve dated. some of them have pretty sordid pasts.

That’s great, but in the case of the female lawyers who dont get to know their kids, who’s fault is that.
Should a male lawyer complain if he doesnt get to see his kids enough? Males dont have that choice do they? My son’s wife left him for another man, which is fine, she was screwing half th country anyway, he got sole custody of his child. No one cares that he is a single parent now, His job dosnt give him any breaks.
I am happy for your daughter, that she has a job that alows her to have time with her kids. I just feel that women want to be equal in pay, but in effect it isnt equal.
