A bit more from the article:

<snip> Someone with a keen political nose might sense that voters in District 10 were ready for some real change, like electing a strong fiscal conservative. Polling data, which shows the race in District 10 as close with lots of undecided voters, supports that theory. Throw into this scenario the generally-accepted fact that conservative voters are much more motivated than liberal voters now, and it sure looks like David Harmer could win.

What would a Harmer victory do? Victory in Nancy Pelosi's backyard by a conservative Republican strongly opposed to Obamacare in a district held for a long time by liberal Democrats would almost certainly give dozens of House Democrats a case of cold feet on Obamacare. How could Pelosi convince congressmen in Virginia, Colorado, and Texas to support Obamacare when even her neighboring congressional districts in northern California are against it?
Everything I am reading says this race in California’s 10th district is winnable for Harmer, and would flip a seat from a Democrat to a Republican.

Add to that the message coming from a district across the bay from Pelosi’s district, and you have even more reason that the GOP should be fighting seriously for this district.

Yet the NRCC ignores David Harmer while they pour hundreds of thousands of dollars into a losing candidate in upstate New York. This is almost criminal fraud on the part of the NRCC.

I support David Harmer for California’s 10th Congressional District (donations). He is a conservative candidate who has been a fellow at the Heritage Foundation and the Cato institute. He is committed to controlling spending, promoting economic growth, and free market solutions to todays problems.

I am also contacting the NRCC to ask why they are supporting Scozzafava in the race in upstate New York, and why they are ignoring David Harmer in this California’s 10th district. Here are the numbers if anyone else wants to call:

Info from the NRCC "contact us" web page:

Also, perhaps those of us who donated to the RNC or RCCC should ask for our money back so we can support the conservative candidates of our choice.

Candidates I support: Doug Hoffman for Congress, NY 23rd (PayPal), David Harmer for Congress, CA 10th (website for info).

Please, spread the word about these important special elections on November 3, 209: New York’s 23rd congressional district and California’s 10th congressional district.

...and NRCC money that could be going to help Harmer is going instead to attack Hoffman.

The NRCC is governed by its chairman, U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions (TX-32), and an executive committee composed of Republican members of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Question: Who is Sessions' Democrat opponent in the next race? I want to send him a check.

I’ve sent them an email to find out why my browser is telling me that the SSL cert doesn’t apply to this host, and the domain is registered in Australia.

I am now 0 for 5 with conservatives’ web sites. We have got to get our act together.

Are there any more special elections to watch out for on election night? Will there be a special election night thread?

The NRCC is ignoring Harmer and funnelling their donors' money into attacking NY conservative Hoffman, instead. Posting this to all pertinent threads, so these folks can no longer hide behind a faceless organization while they do their dirty work.

With that, I give you:

Rep. John Carter, TX (in pic, far left)

Rep. Eric Cantor, VA (third from left)

Rep. John Boehner, OH (fourth from left)

Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, WA

Rep. Pete Sessions, TX (sixth from left)

Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, MI (not pictured)

Note: Rep. Mike Pence, second from left, strenuously objected to Scozzafava, and refused to endorse her or send her money. In retaliation, pro-leftist house members like those above anonymously told reporters that Pence isn't supporting Dede because he's anti-woman.
