Anyone have a sense about Barbara Comstock's chances?

If our luck holds, it is going to be an evening of eating hot death for the Dems.

We The People MUST take back our country from corrupt, anti-American politicians to ensure our freedom, to ensure our security, and to ensure our children and grandchildren’s futures. The RATs and RINOs at every level government “MUST” be voted out in 2010 and 2012 for our country to survive.
To: freespirited
Comstock loses if she endorses any part of Obama’s far left national agenda.

Best of LUCK, VA ... but ...The Republicans are still running free.. and they’ve proven that they could screw up a 1 float parade.

Comstock loses if she endorses any part of Obamas far left national agenda. Is there a reason that you fear she will do that? AFAIK, she's very conservative.

No reason. There’s no reason to think she will lose. I know how Conservative she is. She’s largely responsible for the opposition research of the RNC back in it’s heyday. She’s someone the Republican party could use right now.

As ACORN and the Demorats would say (and do), vote early and vote often.

Okay people. This is series. Even HUGH.
Reality is that we can take all three top slots and make significant gains in the House of Delegates.
BUT...
WE MUST GET OUT THE VOTE!!!!
The margins all depend on who shows up at the polls. The Dems are demoralized. But we can't become over confident.

Don’t forget “dig up the dead.” Liberals are great grave diggers as well as liars, cheats, cowards, and corrupt anti-American slime.
To: Texas Fossil
That’s for Congress (and 3 of those members are no longer in office), this is a discussion of the state legislature.

I am sorry for going off subject, but was reacting to the specific comments of my friend ExTexasReadhead.
I did not have the data for the state.
By the way, which 3 are no longer in office? The database I took this from has been reliable in the past.

and 3 of those members are no longer in officeI went over to House.gov and on the official website all of the U.S. Congressmen I had in the table are still listed. Do you have information to the contrary?

To: Texas Fossil
Sure. No, that list was from the prior Congress.
Thelma Drake (R) was beaten in VA-2 (by Dem Glenn Nye)
Virgil Goode (R) was beaten in VA-5 (by Dem Tom Perriello)
Tom Davis (RINO, VA-11) threw a hissy and quit when they wouldn’t give him the Senate nomination, and it went to rodent Gerry Connolly.
The Dems now have a 6D-5R majority of the VA House delegation. We should take back VA-5 (fluke upset), VA-2 (with a good candidate), but VA-11 is a bit more difficult being the rodent-expanding DC suburbs, although the challenger from ‘08 is running again.

I just figured it out, if you look at the table I posted there are 2 columns with Congressmen’s names. One for 2008 and the other for 2009. In the 2008 column there are 3 that are no longer there in the 2009 data. But the votes are associated with the correct Congressman.

All these polls are starting to scare the he!! out of me. If McD wins by less than a 20 point margin, or GOP doesn’t pick up a dozen or more seats in House of Delegates it’ll be portrayed as a LOSS for the GOP.

D’oh ! I looked at the first column without seeing the second. I thought it was the ‘07-’08 member. Sorry, my mistake. Long day. :-P
