Every time the White House has a new enemy, left-wing Web-based media outlets take up the cause to defend the Obama administration.

Earlier this year when CNBC personalities criticized the Obama administration, the Huffington Post and other components of the left-wing noise machine watched every word said on the financial network - an effort that has since petered out. The Huffington Post also asked readers to supply reports to undermine the credibility of the tea party protests that were critical of the Obama administration.

Boy, this is slow tonight!

Did anyone see the guy on Greta last night (10/26) from FBN talking about the high level dinner meeting in the Treasury dining room with prominent CEOs? According to him, the Obama admins were pressuring the CEOs into dropping their CoC memberships publicly.

I keep thinking I’m going to see more about this. It was really creepy/slimy. Using the power of the presidency to shut down the 1st amendment rights of a legit organization!

White House confronts the U.S. Chamber of Commerce

http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-chamber25-2009oct25,0,2759556.story?track=rss
“In recent weeks, President Obama, his Energy secretary and one of his other most senior advisors have begun criticizing the chamber publicly, casting it as a profligate lobbying organization at odds with its members in opposing the administration on such issues as consumer protection and climate change.

At the same time, the administration has been meeting privately with prominent corporate leaders — more than 60 of them since June — in an effort to develop its own pipeline to the business community.

The White House also has gone out of its way to cultivate another corporate group, the Business Roundtable, which is much smaller than the chamber but represents chief executives of many of the nation’s largest corporations.

“Our strategy is to reach out directly to the business community,” said Valerie Jarrett, the president’s liaison to the corporate world. “This is a shift. Previously, the chamber had served as the sole intermediary for business. That’s not our approach.”

No kidding, my boss joined this week just because of this stuff. I think it safe to say there will be a surge in membership in the CoC. NRA and gun owners, up. FOX viewers, up. Conservatives, up. Formerly anally attached MSM, looking around. I hope the WH attacks my cichlid club next as there are only 3 of us. Maybe he will since I watch FOX and pets cause GW. Hmm, I just started typing FOX instead of Fox. Yeah that whole is it FOX or is it Fox thing so everyone type FOX. By the way my boss is a libertarian.

U.S. Chamber of Commerce President Tom Donohue says:
“If we got the EPA one, then we are in deep sh— as a country,” he said. “You want to see unemployment? You will see some.”...about a cap and trade bill. I love this guy.

It is great for people to remember who the Left are. There was too much of business and Wall Street middle and upper middle class people playing games with liberalism and the hippie fad of the day and now they have a reminder of why we keep them out of power.

Oh please let them find out Starbucks and all of their other favorite places are on the Chambers list of doners so they won’t be able to go anywhere anymore!
