In spite of billions of years of history the process now needs to be managed by people of Al Gore’s caliber. Didn't kids used to trick-or-treat for UNICEF?
Perhaps the One-World Climate Change crew will make Halloween a collect for Al Gore holiday? Shake down the neighbors for cash to stop Climate Change??

Didn't kids used to trick-or-treat for UNICEF? I remember that! I hated carrying the stupid can, I just wanted to collect candy. Also it was very difficult to get the coins out of the can through the slot.
