Uh, aren’t you from Georgia?

There’s only one party in DC - and Hoffman isn’t a member of it.

Funny, I don't see Georgia on that list.....

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) late Monday had some choice words for Republicans supporting Conservative Party party candidate Doug Hoffman (N.Y.), accusing them of conducting a "purge" of the GOP. .. and the problem with this is ???

Newt is a smart guy - not sure how he got so stupid on this issue.

Get lost Newt. You screwed the pooch this time and your hysterical rantings trying to absolve yourself are embarrassing. I’ve supported and defended you for years...hoped against hope that you would enter the race last year. No more. I’m sick and tired of your stupid little gadfly games and your flirting with liberals. Just get lost!

Oh yeah it’s a purge all right. I’ll bet if the GOP purges conservatives they’ll cease to exist in 5 years or less. They’ll cease to become a political force in less time than that.

“GOP candidate Dede Scozzafava” The GOP is support Dede.
It is the rest of the party that is not. Newt needs to buy a clue on this issue.

I am surprised he didn’t characterize it as a “Putsch”. Noot left his nads hanging on the concertina wire around nancy peeloousi’s compound. Being bipartisan can do that to you.

Newt prefers to rule, not serve. He’s darn ticked off that the peasants are questioning those who rule.

"This idea that we're suddenly going to establish litmus tests and all across the country we're going to purge the party of anybody who doesn't agree with us 100 percent..."OK Newt, let's say I agree that we can't expect 100% agreement between the candidates and the voters. What's the line then; 80%, 70%, 50%? Under the Newt-plan, at what point can I look at the GOP candidate and say "Nope, they don't reflect my values?" Or is it sufficient that they have an 'R' after their name?

I like what the NY Post wrote today:
Dede Scozzafava, is the product of an obscenely corrupt political bargain by GOP bosses that sells out their party and New Yorkers generally.
You hear that Newt? They're talking about you babe!
