He also claims to be a Christian as well, and I studiously stay away from the raging "are Mormons Chrstians" theological debate, which flared up about a dozen times here when Mitt Romney was running.
I had not heard that; in any event, he’s not a hedonist nor an antheist—and the Left hates that.

I'll give you the benefit of doubt that you say that merely because you are ignorant of the fact that Mormon's ARE Christians hence the name of the Church: “The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints.”
If you are among the un-Christian acting uber judgmental minions that claim Mormons are not Christians because they don't espouse to every tenet of many other Christian Churches, and therefore, claim these holier-than-thou’s, they ARE NOT Christian.
They do, however, espouse to more tenets in the Bible than many churches, including as to their structure...
Of course, people don't have to take your word for it that they aren't Christian, they listen to BYU-TV and/or read their extensive web site.
I hardly think it valid for anyone else to empiricaly claim who and who is not Christian.

Please do not respond to me. This thread is not about Beck's religion - or that he mistakenly thinks he's a Christian...but these “Mormon's aren't Christians” protestations are too ignorant to let slip on by. They happen too often on FR.
