Major Adrian Agassi did not make the connection between the Bible, the land and the Jews when, fresh out of university, he left England for Israel in search of his roots. He was not even a practising Jew... In an unusually frank interview, which offers insights into the melding of religion, politics and law that underpins land seizures in the occupied territories, Agassi has laid out his belief that Israel has a biblical claim to territory beyond its borders and that he, even as an immigrant, has a right to live on it when those born there do not.The last part of that last sentence is clearly a lie. The shill who wrote this piece (as in POS) also refers to confiscation of Palestinian land, which is something that is not happening and hasn't happened -- some property was abandoned (either in 1948, or before, at least 61 years ago, or in 1967, which is 42 years ago), and there's literally no paper trail for much of that, merely unsubstantiated (and often phony) claims; and despite the small size of the West Bank, a bunch of it had no owner at all.
