The Coast Guard is exempt from the Posse Commitatus Act, since they are not part of DOD. That’s why we’re able to board U.S. flag vessels at our discretion, just because we can.
verrrrry nice!
With the Coast Guard falling under certain Customs laws, we would probably have the most jurisdiction than any other federl agency. (As always, I might add.)

Some high speed hovercraft, lightly armed (240G or SAW) tied into a helo response force - fewer Mexicans (and Chinese, Arabs, etc, etc) flooding thru the border.
And who knows, it might even be - fun....OK for a little while anyway.
thanks. what department were they before dhs?
This has been done before. My mom’s uncle flew border patrol in the 1930s. He was coast guard and out of El Paso.
Man.....I always teased em about being knee deep navy ....an now this !
I’d rather have them down there as they are good.
Where would you bring that about in the Rig Grande?
