President Obama's school age daughters have not been vaccinated against the H1N1 flu virus. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs says the vaccine is not available to them based on their risk.

A friend who is associated with the local department of health says that they only have about a thousand doses and they're not allowed to give any of them out. They're just sitting in the refrigerator.
If the GOP cannot make an issue of this gross mismanagement of a simple program, and show it as an example of what to expect from Obamacare...!
I believe H1N1 is no-where near the problem obama and the legacy media would like us to believe. I think they are using it as anther manufactured crisis they can take advantage of. Headlines: H1N1 deaths reach 1,000 for the year! Oh no! ... Um, wait a second... We're at the end of October here, roughly 80% through the year and we have 1,000 deaths. But regular seasonal flu regularly claims 20,000 lives a year in the US. So we could expect maybe 1250 H1N1 deaths this year, bringing our average flu deaths up a whopping 6%...yawn.
I believe there is a non-zero chance there may be something funny with the H1N1 vaccine. I'm usually not a tin-foil-hat conspiracy guy but... It does seem odd that obama and the media are making such a mountain out of the H1N1 mole-hill. And yet, if this is such a terrible threat, they're not taking action to protect their own families? Something is rotten here.
At this time only children with chronic medical conditions are receiving the vaccination because their immune system is not strong enough to fight off the strain.
Unless, you have information that would prove that the Obama daughters have a chronic medical condition that would impact their immune system, the family is following the same protocol as other Americans.
Not if a white male of European descendants who is a rich oil tycoon and had billions earned by hard work who believes in the constitution and follows the words of the Bible to the tee and voted for George W. Bush needs it first.

There seems to be a conflict between this news and the news that Obama created the swine flu epidemic to kill off as many people as possible. Of course, maybe they are just TELLING us that the daughters were not vaccinated.
As long as the girls do not have a chronic medical condition, it would appear from the article, that they are not in a group who is now receiving the H1N1 vaccination.
Nonsense; lead by example is what leadership is, not do as I say, not as I do.
And a state of national emergency is in place because of H1N1?
If you are in the age group you get the shot or the inhaler.
500 doses are due here shortly. They will be given at the Community Center after 5:00PM so that a family member doesn't have to take off work or the kids miss school to get the inoculation.
I've not hear anything about how you determine a kids chronic medical condition. I know kids who don't know they have ashma until they collapse or if they are getting measles until you see the red spots. Cases of mumps are being reported in the NE among this age group.

OK - that got an audible snort laugh out of me. Just thought I'd let you know.
I would not wish H1N1 on anyone
This article is actually from Oct. 8. Am wondering if they are reconsidering vaccinations for the girls since the Ditherer in Chief declared swine flu a national emergency.
Think about it. Any better way to get his message across than the entire family getting inoculated on air? Perhaps some cabinet members and their families as well?
His actions ever put the lie to his words.
again, disagree. You had to fill out a form at school to opt out. The article says, HIS KIDS ARE NOT GETTING IT. I translate that to NOW, LATER or WAY LATER...i.e., NOT GETTING IT. That means a decision was made to NOT GET IT.
