Anyone else find Poole’s writing obscure?

Thanks for that.

I am not such a well read person that I can claim familiarity with Mr. Poole’s writing style. I will say this, after reading the first five or six paragraphs I had to lean back and catch my breath in a sense.

It was like a roller coaster ride. George Washington to Mary and Robert E. Lee, Athens to Virginia, idyllic American Dream to Federal nightmare.

From my point of view, Mr. Poole’s article, The Battle of Arlington, captured the moment of America’s descent into insidious tyranny.
