BTW, about the peripherals. My classic example. I bought two identical UPS systems, one for the PC and one for the Mac.
PC instructions for XP:
- Re-plug your power, but DO NOT connect the USB or you'll be sorry
- Turn on the system
- Insert disk, install drivers
- Plug in the USB when told
- Wait for more stuff to install
- Reboot
- Configure
Mac instructions:
- Re-plug power, including USB
- Turn on the system
- Configure through the Energy Saver setting
As a new Mac user back then I was freaking out because I couldn't find drivers. I didn't realize it could be so quick and easy, I thought I'd missed something. I'm going to have to try that with Windows 7 and see if it's as easy as OS X.
Ummm.. we were talking about Windows 7 versus Snow Leopard, so why would you go back to 2001 to talk about XP?
Why on earth would you use XP as an example to reply to post I made about the ease of installing peripherals on Windows 7? I will repeat what I said before, installing peripherals/accessories on Windows 7 is breeze.
You wanna try your FUD again?
