LOL! I’m not a mac crazy. I make my living fixing the bizillions of things that constantly go wrong with Windows operating systems and their applications. And make a damn good living too, thank you very much. Been doing this for over 10 years, and am very good at it. I constantly do research to try to stay informed about as much as possible. So, I do know quite a lot about XP, Vista, and now Windows 7.

Let me repeat: Windows 7 is just Vista. So, if you love Vista, you’ll love W7. If you hate Vista (like most people), you’ll most likely hate W7. So, I advise people to do what 90% of the business world does: stick with XP. They’ll be much happier.

There was never a compelling business case for Vista, and there won’t be for W7, either. That’s why HP and Dell repeatedly forced MS to back down on their periodic attempts to withdraw XP, namely, HP and Dell would have gone broke, and Vista was such a miserable failure in the business marketplace that MS had no mojo to withdraw XP. MS even finally gave up making announcements about XP’s demise. And looks like Dell and HP have learned their lesson over Vista, too. Unlike when Vista was released, and Dell and HP withdrew XP and were forced to reintroduce it, all of Dell’s and HP’s business systems include a “Windows 7 to XP downgrade” option right from the get go. I suspect that Dell and HP also forced MS to keep distributing XP until/if Windows 7 dominates in the business world.

If it talks like a mac crazy, walks like a mac crazy, and shills like a mac crazy, it IS a mac crazy.

Let me repeat. Windows 7 is NOT Vista.
It's Windows 7, the most tested in beta by more people, operating system ever. There is a reason its already sold more in pre-orders than Vista sold in it's entire first year. Consumers wouldn't be out there, buying Win 7 in record numbers, faster than any other operating system in history, if Win 7 is exactly the same as Vista. They would simply have bought Vista instead before the Win 7 launch.
Plus 41% of businesses (who have missive IT departments know the difference between Vista and Win 7) plan a wholesale migration to Windows 7 within just the first year alone. That is virtually unprecedented.
