Another late Friday news event. Seems this administration is getting into the habit of baiting the weekend talkies with irrelevant news items while it's real agenda goes unreported.

“killed more than 1,000” people!!!!

Thats as many people that die from regular flu in 6 days during a regular flu season.

“The goal is to remove bureaucratic roadblocks and make it easier for sick people to seek treatment...” You mean there are bureaucratic roadblocks to delivering public health care?
If this were W the headline would read 1000 DEAD as the Bush White house fails to deliver needed vaccine.

What does this mean? He really is a bad president.

I will say that Bush would have handled things better.

Obama should declare the emergency and go on TV and tell in a calm manner what this means. How it affects everyone’s day to day.

Don't let this simple little fact sway you from seeing the good that would come out of a government controlled health care system./s

Anyone know what federal rules will be “bypassed?” Hope it’s not the ones that check the vaccines before use.

They don’t know if people have even had H1N1. When my daughter was sick a few weeks ago, the doctors didn’t test her. A few days later, I got a letter saying the school had confirmed H1N1 in their school.

There has been a lot of misinformation. The scary thing about all of this is that I have daughters who are at high risk for complications (bad asthma and epilepsy) from any flu (one of them gets very sick just from colds). Then, they are running out of seasonal flu shots. I waited to get my son his season flu shot because he’s been in a play. The recommendation is to get season flu in October/November. Well, they’ve run out of seasonal flu shots.

My guess is that it will be the ones that say the Gov't has to follow the rules. Maybe they will suspend the November elections or the 2010 midterms out of concern for our health, lots of germs can be spread in a voting booth you know. Camp Obama here we come...

I was watching FNC when they announced this and I thought the same thing "Never let a good crisis go to waste".

This administration scares the heck outta me, while making me sick to my stomach.

Let’s all create our own bogus titles to articles and then we’ll have the same article posted countless times with nothing new but the dumb ass title.

When pressed, criminal enterprise liars always resort to misdirection and obfuscation ... democrats haven’t changed much in the past fifteen years.

Obama will use this so-called “emergency” to make a case to pass DeathCare. Please, this isn’t an emergency, how many people die every year from the regular flu..50,000+. Obama is trying to use this to his advantage. What a schmuck

Obama is too much drama. 36,000 (give or take) die per year from the regular flu and it’s never been a national emergency. 1,000 die from this flu and it’s a national emergency?

Remind me what Washington gets to do when a national emergency is declared by the President.

exactly
makes me wonder if it will be so “bad” in Nov 2010 that Baraq will have to suspend the elections
