Last week, I went to the doctors to get a pneumonia vaccine.

After they gave me the vaccine, they had me wait outside to see if I had a reaction to it. Well, they had me sit by this man who I heard was there to get an X-ray because he was coughing, had a fever, had a sore throat. When he came to sit by me, I got up and moved. He didn’t even have a mask on.

It’s been over a week, so at least I don’t think I picked up anything from him.

Our doctors’ office (actually a good sized clinic with multiple practices) has stations all over the building with Purell, masks, and so on, that people are supposed to use if they think they have the flu.

If a guy is being X-rayed they're probably checking for pneumonia, and probably because of his particular circumstances - perhaps a transplant patient, HIV sufferer, something like that.
