What were the stats of October 1918?Are you referring to the Russian Revolution when Russia went communist? That was Nov 7, 1917 (on our calendar) or 25 October 1917 on the old Russian callendar.

No, I meant that compared to Oct 1918’s flu deaths, 1000 in the entire US for swine flu isn’t cause for panic. For example, over 4000 in Philadelphia in one week in October 1918.
