Anyone know if you can get College Sports Channel on line?
I think that it is about time we give them something to cry about....let’s take away their toys and money and power
One big happy marxist family......
He seems to say that he wants Obama/Staff to think that
either way, they won’t trust each other, but then why
would they have trusted each other to start with.
Yup, Drawing a Line and saying ‘Come and Take IT!’
that is what GB did..he beat them to the announcement..
Great to be here.. Keep up the good work!
I’m worried for his personal safety.
Too bad some people don’t “get” Beck.. he actually has a very clever way of getting the won’s goat.
Beat them to the announcement and made them wonder who among them is playing the role of Judas.
Thank you!
Afternoon RBB, All...
...I love this mockery by Glen. The White House so deserves it.
You want to know my take on all this? Well too bad, you gonna get it.
I think the rest of the media was getting antsy. It hadda be difficult to sit by while over a million people marched on Washington and not report it. I understand that GE got billions in TARP money thus NBC is in the tank...MSNBC...all them. But even so, some of those reporters must have SOME pride, they must be complaining.
For no matter how the justification, it’s like that Nobel prize, the emperor having no clothes, insert your own analogy here, some things we all know just are. And NOT reporting ACORN or over a million people marching in DC or unappointed, unbudgeted 9-11 truther czars just IS the stuff of mockery. The alphabets know this even if the mighty WH pats them on the head. Haven’t we all been there before, in some fashion? We cover for a bad boss for the promise of a promotion. A bully coaxes us into going after an innocent and we join for the joy of being part of the in-crowd. We’ve all sold our souls a time or two or hey, maybe it’s just me.
So I think the other media approached the WH and said...hey, we want to give you good coverage and we go along with you what with covering Michelle and her garden and everything. We even tried to keep that Nobel prize not too much an object of total sneering. But Fox is getting all the ratings, the glory and hey, their employees are not ashamed to be working for them. You got a million citizens marching on DC and that Jones guy had to resign and THAT’S news! It’s really unfair to keep us from reporting this stuff.
So the WH says...hey, give us a little time. We’ll send guests on your big news shows, we’ll lambaste Fox, we’ll send out Dunn to excoriate Fox in public. By the time we get done with Fox they’ll be sitting in the corner with a dunce cap....just give us time.
This is what the WH did.
Everybody has a point. Everybody. Now everybody’s point is different, let’s be sure, but everybody, even Chris Matthews, has a point.
The other media at first held back. They wanted to see if the WH could really marginalize Fox. Cause if it did then their problem would be solved. They could tell their shamed employees that...see, this is why we couldn’t let you run roughshod with reporting stuff. The powers that be will stomp you crippled...so they would say.
For some the point came sooner. Jake Tapper, a fellow that I imagine doesn’t take kindly to jostling by millions of people on the streets of DC to get to the WH for pics of Michelle’s latest fashion and a pose in the WH garden, met his point earlier. He posed the infamous question about a “sister” station.
The point for them all came when the WH, flexing it’s muscles and with that same baseball bat Glen’s using so effectively, demanded that Fox be ejected from the media pool.
It was their point.
Yeah, it was pragmatic. They knew if the WH does it to Fox hey, catch Michelle at a really bad angle and refuse to change it at command, next thing it will be CBS kicked out of the press pool. Next day, damn CNN refuses to praise Obama’s Baseball MVP award and CNN gets to sit in the corner.
I think the media, who deserve mockery no matter how much the WH tries to make the sun black and the night sky bright yellow, has reached their point.
I suspect, slowly at first, but I suspect that the other media will begin to do their job. It’ll take time but remember my words...
...everybody has a point.
Sorry for my lengthy rumination.
he gets to fight among themselves....no honor among thieves or liars.
“I think that it is about time we give them something to cry about....lets take away their toys and money and power”
Each state needs to present a referendum to it’s voters to cut it’s own Congressional representative pay and the amount it sends to DC. These flippant SOBs have been so easy and fast to bump their own pay (while complaining about private sector bonuses) and spend money that isn’t theirs, it’s time for “We the People” and residents of each state start withholding the “lifeblood” of these blood sucking and tyrannical vampires.
yes he does and it is unfortunate most people don’t see Glenn for who he is and what he does.
And I want to start with Alan Grayson from my state FL..what a pathetic excuse for a man
Its the way I would play it. They’re a paranoid bunch and I would constantly pick at that paranoia.
Thank you... I’m still in a daze...
COMRADE! Nice to see you!
