House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday joined the battle between former Vice President Dick Cheney and Obama administration officials over the strategy of the war in Afghanistan.

Pelosi chided Cheney for asserting Wednesday that President Obama is "afraid" to make a decision about whether to ramp up war at the request of his military advisers or scale back the effort and focus on going after Al Qaeda in Pakistan, as some of his political advisers are urging.

"That's really not a dignified statement," Pelosi said Thursday. "The president has a very difficult decision to make. I don't think that's a constructive comment to make."(continued)

“That’s really not a dignified statement,” Pelosi said Thursday.

And, SanFranNan can spot an undignified statement...God knows she’s made enough of them herself.

Then, Nancy, can you explain all the extra time Obama has on his hands for flying to other countries and partying like it's 1999?

Shouldn't he be in conferences with the staff he feels he needs information and opinions from until he comes COMES TO AN TIMELY DECISION????

Biden wasn’t always defending Obama...

http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/07/17/1204594.aspx

On Aug. 1, 2007, when Obama unveiled his counterterrorism agenda, the Biden camp fired off a snarky email congratulating him for his “Johnny-come-lately position” on Afghanistan, noting that during two Foreign Relations Committee hearings on Afghanistan and other subjects, Obama didn’t ask questions about the Taliban, Al Qaeda, or Afghanistan.

Hey Nancy, what the hell did you think Bush was doing for 8 years. He had to deal with 9/11 AND you ass-holes.

"The president has a very difficult decision to make.

It's difficult because he's not up to the task and throw in his anti-American stance and he's a deliberate 'do nothing' for OUR TROOPS.

Is Pelosi acting like she secretly holds the official position of POTUS?

I made a jokingly comment about that elsewhere and I have thought about this subject since the inauguration and I think the biggest secret in Washington DC could very well be that technically she was sworn in behind closed doors and is using Obama as a stage puppet. She is legally POTUS by the fact that Obama cannot legally nominate Biden.

That is IF the exacting laws of the Constitution were upheld...
