Heck, I always voted in the primaries, and the GOP always threw the $$$ at THEIR candidate which consistently has been toward RINO's.

Face it, once they choose someone, that's it. My conservative primary picks never get the nod, and many times there isn't even a true conservative running in the primaries to begin with.

I changed to Independent. At some point something has got to give, and all of us being too afraid to leave the party has gotten us nowhere. As it stands, they don't care what you think. They will give you the candidates that they like, and you'll have no choice but to once again "vote for the lesser of two evils".
