MSBNC's Brewer introduces Jackson as Sharpton
Wednesday, October 21, 2009
NEW YORK, (AP)
MSNBC's Contessa Brewer has apologized for mixing up civil rights activists Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. She made the slip-up Wednesday while introducing Jackson during a segment on homelessness. After the introduction, Jackson stared at the camera from a studio in Burbank, Calif., and said, "I'm Rev. Jesse Jackson."
Brewer explained that her script read that she was to introduce "the Rev. Al Sharpton."
She continued, "We all know who you are, Rev. Jackson. I'm so sorry."

Them Justice Brothers do look alike.
ROFLMAO
She’s the female Ron Burgundy, who will read anything put in front of her.
An egomaniac’s worst nightmare!
Race-baiting, liberal asswipe preacher wanna-bes do tend to look alike.
Ron Burgandy was entertaining. MSNBC’s Obama-whores are not.
You’ve seen one race pimp, you’ve seen ‘em all.
That's a "real" cable news network you're talking about. /s
Contessa is one of the reasons my mute button is almost wore out. I know, I should not be watching msnbc in the 1st place, but she and Alex Witt are attractive.
I remember a couple of years ago when Steve Doocy (Fox and Friends) was going to a DC remote and he started with “Here’s Kelly Wright from the White House!”.....It was in fact Wendell Goler doing the piece, and he kinda let the Dooce have it - you could tell that Doocy was embarrassed as all hell.
That was sooo funny to watch! LOL, Jackson didn’t flinch and said “I’m Rev Jesse Jackson”! LOL
Yeah, these macaca moments are funny regardless of who is the offender.
Back during the presidential campaign, Obama jokingly clutched at his chest and said “THIS IS THE BIG ONE, WEEZIE!” in a lame attempt to quote Redd Foxx in “Sanford and Son”. Of course, as a person raised in Indonesia, he didn’t realize that Fred Sanford’s late wife’s name was ELIZABETH, and that “WEEZIE” was a character from “The Jeffersons”, a totally different TV Program!
Even this Irish Indian knows THAT! LOL!
But I guess to a Kenyan, all TV Black Americans look alike.
We all know around these parts as well!
Tessa, Tessa, Tessa......are you saying they all look alike? Tsk, Tsk.
What’s ironic is that Weezie was played by Isabel Sanford.
Brewer and Brick, separated at birth ?
Ha Ha! That’s cool!
