Russians backing Islamists doesn't mean that either the Russians or the Islamists are motivated by evolutionary biology. You seem to be laboring under the delusion that if anybody at any time accepted any assistance from Soviet Russia that they simply MUST have rejected their religion and embraced evolutionary biology and be motivated by evolutionary biology to KILL KILL KILL.
