I have no quibble with creationists who base their conclusions on faith. I do have an issue, though, with those who claim that their position is supported by scientific observation (it isn’t), and further that such observation disproves evolution (it doesn’t).

Evolution has been overwhelmingly disproven in several different and unrelated ways and to such an extent that any real science theory under the same circumstances would have been discarded decades ago; it lingers on precisely because it is basically an ideological doctrine with major economic and ego investment.

A minimal list of the the disproofs I speak of includes:

• The fruit fly experiments from the early 1900s. Meant to prove evolution, they resulted in a number of major league scientists publicly denouncing evolution.
• The discovery of RNA/DNA (information codes do not just sort of happen...)
• The Haldane dilemma.
• The total lack of unequivocal missing links or intermediates in the fossil record, particularly at the phyla level.
• The overwhelming evidence of stasis in the fossil record.
• The analysis of Neanderthal DNA in the late 1990s, which left no plausible evolutionary antecedent for modern man on our planet.
• The growing evidence of recognizable dinosaur types in Amerind petroglyphs, ruining the giant time scales needed for evolution.
• The Cambrian explosion, which a journal article went to far as to call the "big bang of evolution", sort of like the big sex orgy of chastity or some such as if the word "oxymoron" were not part of their vocabulary. All of the known animal phyla basically appear out of nothing in the blink of an eye, with no antecedents at all.

Again, that's just a minimal list, the things which come to mind easily. Any real science theory would have been jetissoned long since.
