Ideas have consequences; the consequences of evolutionism obviously include a couple of hundred million dead bodies lying around and Europe being turned into a pig pen twice in one century by total wars.

I thought that God did it.

After reading over this thread, it is quite obvious to me ...

... that somebody spiked the punch bowl.

There is simply no other rational explanation for the synchronized barfing of the kiddies upon the carpet.

I'd guess an amoeba with a low criminal forehead did it. (but I'm just a Knuckle Dragging Creationist, so what do I know?)

Meh, don't feed the gators.

I have no quibble with creationists who base their conclusions on faith. I do have an issue, though, with those who claim that their position is supported by scientific observation (it isn’t), and further that such observation disproves evolution (it doesn’t).

Evolution has been overwhelmingly disproven in several different and unrelated ways and to such an extent that any real science theory under the same circumstances would have been discarded decades ago; it lingers on precisely because it is basically an ideological doctrine with major economic and ego investment.

A minimal list of the the disproofs I speak of includes:

Again, that's just a minimal list, the things which come to mind easily. Any real science theory would have been jetissoned long since.

No, and when I bring “the final answer” on this spoken by Jesus himself, which negates the need to argue and fight over ‘creation’ because the act of being saved renders it irrelevant, look at the response I get..

Banned, no. not hardly.

But some intellectual honesty and equal treatment of all the freepers on a level playing field whom have certainly treated you pretty well over the years is all any of us have ever asked for.

Ted, the stuff that comes to your mind easily would be dismissed by Samuel Z. Arkoff as too far-fetched.

FReepers interested in a collection of the weirdest Unscience Fiction on the planet must visit medved Ted (Ted, you've snuck back into FR so many times, I can't keep up with all the names), Wendy's website, bearfabrique.

-=The fruit fly experiments from the early 1900s. Meant to prove evolution, they resulted in a number of major league scientists publicly denouncing evolution.=-

What is this about? 100 year old genetic experiments? Basically comparing Bell’s original telephone to an iPhone.

-=The discovery of RNA/DNA (information codes do not just sort of happen...)=-

DNA is the molecular fossils proving evolution.

-=The Haldane dilemma.=-

http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/CB/CB121.html

-=The total lack of unequivocal missing links or intermediates in the fossil record, particularly at the phyla level. =-

Ardi, Lucy and thousands and thousands more.

-=The overwhelming evidence of stasis in the fossil record. =-

??????

-=The analysis of Neanderthal DNA in the late 1990s, which left no plausible evolutionary antecedent for modern man on our planet.=-

????

-=The growing evidence of recognizable dinosaur types in Amerind petroglyphs, ruining the giant time scales needed for evolution. =-

Post an example? A picture of Jesus riding a saddled dino is not proof.

-=The Cambrian explosion, which a journal article went to far as to call the “big bang of evolution”, sort of like the big sex orgy of chastity or some such as if the word “oxymoron” were not part of their vocabulary. All of the known animal phyla basically appear out of nothing in the blink of an eye, with no antecedents at all.=-

Your point has been disproved many times.

Could he be the guy that the new George Clooney movie is based on? ;-)

Just putting some levity in the thread.

Ha, I had to look that up. Lets just say this story wasn’t about “staring” at goats. You’ll have to ask Fichori the details. ;-)

Hi Nilla.

No, I've been pretty busy.

I've got neighbors, but if memory serves, pungent Wild Goats™ are more your sort of thing

Government grants, contract killings (no morality or anything like that to worry about in an evoloser world), cons and hustles i.e. if you could get emails for our own resident evolosers and/or Darwin Central and a few other such boards you'd have the world's ultimate sucker list which could easily be marketed...

So evolution = no morals = life of crime! LOL

I was looking for something more specific. Government grants are a pain in the ass to write and even harder to get funded. That's not a very lucrative path.

The sucker list idea is probably your best shot (at profiting from evoloserism). I mean, you’re talking about people who buy off on a pseudo-theory which requires an infinite sequence of zero probability events; what COULDN’T you sell to somebody like that??
