"Mr. Towns, a New York Democrat who also received mortgages from the unit that processed the VIP loans but claims he received no favors, has opposed such a subpoena."
The list of Dem perps is endless...they should be behind locked cell doors...

Is this concerning, also, the run Schumer caused on a major bank and probably started the whole slide in Sept/08? There’s so much corruption, it’s hard to keep it all straight.

Looks like we have to vote them all out and get some grown ups in there. The rats are acting like a bunch of school children.

The Democrats are the biggest bunch of babies I have EVER seen! More and more Americans are catching on to them since they own the whole ball of wax now. I would not be surprised to see them lose 100 seats in the House next years. I make sure I tell every person I meet that I can squeeze into my conversation, that the Democrats ARE the problem. Come voting day next year, they may remember. The chickens are coming home to roost!

On June 20, 1789, the Third Estate found themselves locked out of their meeting place and met on a tennis court, where they took an oath not to disband before they had given France a constitution. There is a famous painting by Jacques Louis David depicting "the oath of the tennis court."
We can't expect any similar show of determination from Congressional Republicans.

If the Repubs had any sack, they'd vote to lay aside any conference on Countrywide and take a vote of impeachment against the absent Dems.
How much you wanna' bet they'd come running to demand, "Who the hell do you think you are?" ....
And THEN we can proceed with Countrywide.
Same thing with the locked in healthcare Dems ....
Call together a commitee, vote for impeachment ... rinse and repeat.

Agreed. Even when we throw out the Dems the Republicans that take their place are wimps or RINOs. So few good people left in public service.

I surely hope our Republican friends remember how they were treated by the majority when The People say enough in 2010 !
