Moon scientist Stewart Nozette held as Israeli spy in FBI sting

An American astrophysicist with top-level nuclear security clearances appeared in court yesterday after being arrested in an FBI sting and charged with trying to sell secrets to Israel.
Stewart Nozette, who helped to discover water on the Moon and spent six years at a top-secret defence technology agency, was lured into a trap by federal agents.
They posed as Israeli intelligence operatives who met him at a Washington hotel and agreed to pay him cash for classified papers.
“I don’t get recruited by Mossad every day,” Mr Nozette allegedly said, according to wiretaps. “I knew this day would come. I just had a feeling.”

I would guess his security accesses involved a whole lot more than moon dust. Undoubtedly. I heard he had access to some of our most sensitive satellite information. I’ll bet the farm that “Nozette” isn’t his real last name. Hell, I’ll bet the farm and the sky above it.

Just a little odd that 2 Western nuclear scientists with high level nuclear security clearances, who deal with the Middle East, go “down” within 24 hours of each other.

Something tells me that we are not getting the complete sorry here. I find it a little too coincidental from a timing perspective with NASA bombing the moon in search of water. It’s what they have intentionally left out of this information that concerns me most.
You are implying that the death plunge guy was afraid Nozette would rat on him. I’m buying that theory 100%.
I’m implying nothing in particular. Just that there’s likely to be *some* connection. For example, there may be a third person we haven’t heard about, who either slipped up or “turned”, and provided information that led to the both the arrest of Nozette and Mr. H’s decision to “topple” off the UN building in Vienna (or another unknown person’s decision to cause Mr. H to topple off said building).
I’ll buy that too. He could’ve been pushed as well.

I'm just making fun of the fact that he was referred to as a moon scientist. Had they called him a rocket scientist, it would come across a lot more serious.
