Democrats Dying to Kill Us With Obama-Care

The left has always wanted to exercise absolute control over the lives of the American people – mind you, for our own good.

It wants to control what we think, through public education, Hollywood and its trained-poodle news media. It wants to dispose of our property, through confiscatory taxation. It wants to raise our children, run our businesses, and plan our retirement.

But now, with Obama-care, it’s reaching for the gold ring – the power to decide who lives and dies, the power to play God.

If you’re elderly and ailing, if you’re young and disabled, if you require special treatment, if it deems your quality of life low or your social utility wanting, the left is dying to kill you. If Congress and this administration have their way, it will have that power very soon.

I’m talking about the rationing of medical services – the inevitable consequence of Obama-care. It’s not just that the politicians will be driven to it. If our health care system is nationalized, they will welcome it.

Actually, it has to be ratified to officially take effect. This administration, however, and this Congress will start enacting and promulgating to effect the provisions of the treaty immediately, ratification or no.

What no one seems to consider is the effect nationalized medicine in America will have for the world. The American market is the sole target for the R&D of drug companies, wherever they are in the world. Only the still free American new-drug market can and will pay for research and new drugs that come from that research. No government will. One may say well we are so much better off than our forebears that we can afford to freeze progress and live at the current level. Considerantibiotics. They decline in effectiveness as the pathogens mutate and develop immunities to them. They have to be replaced by new antibiotics periodically. That takes expensive R&D. After the advent of any form of universal government medicine the American market will be gone. So will R&D. So will new antibiotics. In a generation or two there will be, effectively, no antibiotics. Medicine will retrogress to ca 1900. Mortality of surgical procedures will rise exponentially and- if you get sick you die.

If you aren’t paying a 70% tax rate, you might as well be dead. To Democrats anyway.

You are right.

I have seen so many things brought up about what healthcare reform would do, from death, to taxes to drugs.

I will bet you, there are a whole lot more things that will go wrong, that nobody has even thought of yet.

I read some of the lib comments on articles. Man, are they stupid. I dont know what they are thinking. I would think that most people could read an article or two and figure out, that this is not a good thing. Forget the articles..when did this government ever do anything that they havent screwed up?

Dear Governor Perry,

On March 30, 2009 the Texas House of Representatives passed HCR 50 affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment.

You have publicly supported this bill, and stated that attorney generals from all over the union could be getting ready to sue the US Government.

We are asking you to take the lead.

We are asking you to order the Texas Attorney General to publicly begin working on a law suit under Article IV, Ninth, and Tenth Amendment of the Constitution.

We are asking you to protect the citizens of Texas that we will not stand for government controlled healthcare in our state.

Under your leadership we can effectively kill the proposal of this administration and allow Texas to be a state free from socialism and collectivism.

Be the voice of reason in the national debate and allow Texans the ability to solve the problems of our state.

Thank you,

Facts about the 10th Amendment:

The Tenth Amendment (Amendment X) of the United States Constitution, which is part of the Bill of Rights, was ratified on December 15, 1791. The Tenth Amendment restates the Constitution’s principle of Federalism by providing that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states are reserved to the states or the people.

HCR 50 HAS PASSED THE HOUSE 99-36!
Affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution, serving notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates, and providing that certain federal legislation be prohibited or repealed.

Take Action! Before it is too late!

REMEMBER THIS,TEXANS:

Feds Have Built Only 32 Miles of 700 Mile Double-Border Fence Originally Mandated by Congress

“One reason DHS has been able to do this is an amendment that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R.-Texas) slipped into an omnibus appropriations bill that Congress passed on December 18, 2007. Hutchison’s amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before.”

What the Ruling Class can’t seem to figure out with all their attention focused on finally obtaining total power over everything is that they are cutting their own throats with the killing of R&D. Or perhaps they think they can just ordain it-”Let There Be R&D!” or perhaps it is a problem for their children so it does not matter to them. They will all be dead by then and in the meantime, during what remains of their own lives, they can live on the special arrangements that the Nomenklatura reserve for themselves.
Actually, I expect limited R&D to take off for another generation in India and SEA where the best of English Medicine is already practiced, if it can be limited to cash customers and not exported to the rest of the world as such drugs are now at generic prices that mean that the whole load of paying for the R&D falls on the American market. That is where the Ruling Class will go for its treatment. That is where some of the upper and middle classes go now from England. Even there that won’t last as India becomes rich enough to contemplate socializing ALL medicine in its borders.

I dont know what they are thinking.

The problem is, of course, that they don't think at all. They emote. Their religious basis, that they may not reflect on consciously but that forms the framework of their lives(like Mosaic Monotheism to the rest of us) is that Humanity is God and that the intellectuals (all of them think they are part of that group) are God's brain. They dream of the time they can overcome all the market foolishness and do things right and on the New First Day proclaim "Let There Be Equality and Sharing!" and there will be Equality and Sharing and all will be Very Good.

Believe me, their karma ia coming, it's just a matter of when. We can, however, pray for sooner rather than later, and fight back whenever and wherever we can.
