CHICAGO (AP) - Sarah Palin is going to sit down with Oprah Winfrey.
Harpo Productions announced Tuesday that the former governor of Alaska and Republican vice presidential candidate will appear on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on Monday, Nov. 16.

Bad move for Sarah Palin in my opinion. Winfrey is as much a black racist as is Obama — I thought she was OK years ago, but my take on her changed 100% during the OJ Simpson trial — the first trial — when she made it clear that the big bad white detectives had set up her boy OJ. Please.
Winfrey’s career IS on the rocks at least a bit — her magazine is not doing well and with poll numbers dropping away from Obama she is feeling it.
If I could speak to Sarah I would say DON’T DO THAT SHOW — NOT NOW, NOT EVER.
To any who might be wondering why Palin would go on Oprah, this offers her a great opportunity to reach a wider audience. The goal is to sell books. Assuming her book lays out her vision along with her biography, many new people will get to know the Sarah Palin the media has ignored. It’s a good thing.
this is false until palin spokewoman confirms this. How many times do ppl fallen for false advertising that palin will be there.
Oprah will for certainly try to sabotage Palin. Oprah is that type of person. I hope Palin knows what she’s getting into and be prepared with a few barbs of her own
Read all the comments before posting...this is a LIVE appearance....no edits.
Anyone remember Oprah’s interview of Bush? She tried to sabotage him
Re: “I have come to the conclusion that with about 98% of blacks, skin color comes before everything else.”
**********
In my experience, it’s worse - some 99.9% — I’m serious.
I can only hope that Sarah leans in and whispers “I routinely kill and eat animals even larger than yourself” as she shakes hands during the introductions.
This is a bad move.
This story might not be true. Drudge had the announcement about this, and now its been removed. Perhaps they know something we don’t. Take this all with a grain of salt, until Sarah HERSELF or Meg confirms it, consider it BS
Nah, good move. Get the baptism of fire, fury and phony out of the way early.
Sarah is going to have to face these people sooner or later.
If she can’t handle herself in a hostile interview, she’ll never deserve the nomination.
Baptism of fire, people.
Have faith.
And relax.
She be fine.
You go, Sarah. Kick some Harpo arpo.
Many in Oprah’s audience are normal, everyday Americans who will respond well to Sarah’s message.
If Sarah Palin cannot go on Oprah’s show and win over people to her side, she has no business running for president. I believe she can and will pick up many new supporters.
If some Palin supporters think this is a bad move, maybe they don’t have faith in her ability to master the situation.
Exactly!
Unhappily, more evidence that Sarah simply is not ready. You just don’t go on Oprah for an interview.
This will not end well.
I like your thinking.
Plus she’s showing that conservatives are not afraid to go into the lions den, as it were. Whereas, the white house is afraid of Fox News.
Hey a brotha gotta stick agetha ya fell me.
I have faith in Sarah. She does need to get out there if she’s serious about 2012. That’s why Huckabee is leading in the GOP polls right now, he was smart to get face time weekly on talk shows and then his own show.
My wife is nearly as conservative as I am, but I still occasionally catch her watching Buick Butt.
What's her advance book count up to now? 8-9 million? I think this is a temperature take on her popularity. Oprah's ratings will skyrocket that day.
And furthermore, if Oprah does try and skewer her unfairly, it will only make her (Sarah) more popular with her constituency.
