US Airways did not pay; their Insurance company paid. Unfortunately; that is the reality in the business world. You think US Airways or their insurance company would risk letting a jury award 10,000,000,000 to a bunch of Muslims......

US Airways did not pay; their Insurance company paid. Good point. And since the insurance company presumably will pay all but the deductible, they are the ones who decide what to do in a case like this. The client really has to go along with what they decide.
