NEWTON, Mass. -- Police are looking for a man wanted for attacking an 18-year-old woman at a bus stop last week.
The woman told police she was waiting for a bus at the intersection of Centre and Church Streets around 5:30 p.m. on October 12 when a man pulled up in a car and asked her to get in.

The car had an Obama bumper sticker on it. Where is Rep. Marzilli anyway?
Is that the ONLY old car with THAT bumper sticker on it???
An Obama sticker, in the Boston area? Well I never..
Newton has more than its share of rich libs. Must be the aging hippie type.
I thought all of those were taken off of the streets in the cash for clunkers deal......
I love it when I see 20 somethings in a SUV with a O sticker..........I guess their ignorance is their bliss.
A mile or two from where I grew up. I do think I’m seeing far fewer of these Zero bumper stickers these days, FWIW.
If you see a guy with a white four door scraping an Obama sticker off the right rear window you might want to ask him where he was on Columbus Day.
I work in Mass. I was surprised before the election that I didn't see that many O-stikers. Then after the election I saw them all over the place but you are correct, I see fewer Bambi stickers these days too. Ain't it sweet? ;-)
As a man, I ask, “where is the line?”. You notice a woman at a bus stop, and you make eye contact. You pull over and offer her a ride. She seems hesitant, and you cut to the chase by asking her if she wants to ****. She seems confused (or maybe shocked) and you grasp her by the shoulders and look into her eyes. She breaks away from your grasp, turns and walks away. Later, still thinking she might be interested, you see her again a couple of times and beep and wave.
Maybe the line is when he put his hands on her. I think that crude suggestions/questions are protected speech, deserving of social scorn, perhaps, but no business of the law. I wouldn’t call momentarily grasping someone by the shoulders as an attack or an assault, but maybe legally it is.
Sheesh. I hope she has more evidence than a he-said, she-said argument.
Obama bumber sticker?.....GUILTY!
is bumber kind of like beeber? ;-)
I’m more amazed that Newton cruisers have American flag decals on them.
What is a bumber?
Yeah, except dumber!
From which planet did you recently arrive? That sort of behavior has been considered an assault for hundreds or maybe thousands of years.
Regarding Obama stickers, a friend of mine has recently started a running tally of vehicles with Obama stickers. If he sees one, he then looks to see if there is an American flag or any sort of sticker indicating any sort of traditional patriotism, such as a yellow “troops return home safely” ribbon.
So far, he’s 33-0, and the “No’s” have it.
