Rush was dead on concerning McDrabb. The sports press never made a big deal concerning McNair, Culpepper, or Moon - all three much better than McDrabb. The point of Rush’s comment was that the press will not allow a black QB to look bad - even if the QB is average. And that is what McDrabb is - as he has proven time and time again.
For another example, see David Garrard. Love the man and his personality, but not the best quarterback. I’m starting to wonder if we were still better off with Leftwich.
