I was watching...what, uh Extreme Home Makeover, Desperate Housewives etc.. last night... and there were promo’s about how all the shows on the network this week were about “giving back” or some such crap. I started laughing at it thinking...”how stupid do you think we are?”. (Sorry, I just can’t handle watching Huckabee)
I would encourage everyone here to track stocks for the big networks. Records for these publicily held companies are wide open. Who are the mega stockholders. Who’s buying? selling?
I’ve been in broadcasting my entire career and I have never been more afraid than right now - that the entire industry is about to evaporate... television and radio and perhaps even internet broadcasting. So, the government will own, auto - banking - media and health. Next up? Real Estate, Food and ?????
