While I think Bush started this economic downturn mess were in, I’ve pretty much felt like he wanted to preserve our country and its greatness. I think in the dire times were facing he should speak out and denounce this nonsense were heading towards, or at least let Cheney loose again. I understand its considered bad behaviour for a former president to criticize a sitting president, Clinton exempt of course, but we need leaders in government to step up.
Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Chris Dodd and Barney Frank did (among others), with most likely a large hand in it by George Soros.
