I regard war as an evil thing. No good has ever come from any war.

Including the formation of this country, apparently.

American Rveolution - created the world’s best democratically elected representative government in the world.

The Civil War - the beginning of the end of slavery in our country and although it took many more years of struggle our country finally achieved racial equality.

World War I and II - stopped the evil forces of fascism and imperialism from taking over the entire world.

The first Gulf War - pushed Saddam Hussein back into Iraq after invading neighboring Kuwait.

The War in Afghanistan - started because our country was attacked by forces of Al Qaeda which were operating in this country at the time in concert with the Taliban. Ongoing but with the intention of freeing the Afghan people from the yuranny of the Taliban, 25 million people.

The War in Iraq - opened a second front against Al Qaeda and terrorists in general in order to split their forces. Freed another 25 million people so that they could determine their own path to freedom, liberty, peace and justice.
