All that’s left is for McDonnell to choke. He will do this by uttering things that sound “Democrat socialist lite” over the next two weeks out of panic over pieces exactly like this one. I’ve seen it too many times. Make no mistake, the Democrat “mainstream” newsrooms are just waiting for McDonnell’s “macaca moment”, and barring that, any hint from him of capitulation to their liberal / socialist agenda that they can use as a wedge against the conservative base.
