....blacks are rougher on queers than whites...try this on a predominately white liberal campus and there would be a problem.

ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) — An all-male college in Atlanta, Georgia, has banned the wearing of women’s clothes, makeup, high heels and purses as part of a new crackdown on what the institution calls inappropriate attire.

William Bynum says he discussed the new dress-wearing ban policy with Morehouse’s campus gay organization.

No dress-wearing is part of a larger dress code launched this week that Morehouse College is calling its “Appropriate Attire Policy.”

The policy also bans wearing hats in buildings, pajamas in public, do-rags, sagging pants, sunglasses in class and walking barefoot on campus.

However, it is the ban on cross-dressing that has brought national attention to the small historically African-American college.

...

EW!

...

Those breaking the policy will not be allowed to go to class unless they change. Chronic dress-code offenders could be suspended from the college.

Bynum said the policy comes from the vision of the college’s president, who wants the institution to create leaders like notable graduates Martin Luther King Jr., actor Samuel Jackson and film director Spike Lee.

...

A black college for losers!

“We are talking about five students who are living a gay lifestyle”

Ok, if they are gay, then they shouldn’t want to dress like women. And if they are “transexuals”, ie they think they are really women in a man’s body, then they shouldn’t be going to a men’s college. Take off the dress or go to another school, problem solved.

CNN’s video discussion on this issue (between black news anchor TJ Holmes and black Dr. Steve Perry) actually makes sense.

Here, let me try this on you,....

"Klan Kollege, a small, white caucasian college in Atlanta."

We have and allow all-black colleges to exist? All black male colleges? What's next, 'Harvey Milk All-Gay, All-Black, All-Male College'????????

How does it make you feel every time you hear about the 'Congressional Black Caucus.'????????????????????????????????

What the hell kind of asshole country have we become????? I thought for a moment we all Americans, all in favor of Liberty and Freedom for all! Guess not!

If it is a private school, receiving no public funds, simply do not enroll any queers.

When I enlisted in the Navy (goin’ on half a hundred years ago) I was given a checklist of diseases to say if I had or had ever had them. One item was “homosexual tendencies”. Have the kids fill it out, and lying on the form is grounds for dismissal.

Of corse, if federal funds are involved, queers rule.

The dress-wearing ban is aimed at a small part of the private college's 2,700-member student body

So, IOW, this college is not extending any endowments?

I’ll explain this once: I’ve visited several historically black colleges and I’ve always seen white students there.

Of course they aren’t restricted by race. But when blacks weren’t allowed to attend most (white) colleges, they made their own all black ones. When desegregation ended, so did that exclusiveness but the fact is, most whites don’t want to go to a mostly black school and until that ends, they will remain mostly black.

BTW: most of the black schools I’ve been to have also had stricter dress and behavior codes then other colleges, Morehouse is actually just catching up in this regard

I’m with Morehouse College on this one. Hold your standards. I’m going to contact them as soon as I can locate contact information. More colleges should do this. It’s really quite black and white.

Remember what was said about Hollywood making an all male movie? They couldn’t find enough all males. Morehouse Collage understands.
