I know things have changed over the years but I still can’t get used to people attending church in “play clothes”...you know, the clothes we used to change into AFTER church.

Me neither....and at least in my church young couples sit with their arms around each other - like they were at the movies.

Most odd.

I only do it when I attend the contemporary service because the tie makes college students (400-500 a week) a bit uncomfortable. I sometimes have door duty.
Our coat-and-tie crowd can be a bit pretentious at times. A lot of liberal college professors.
