I sent emails to Lieberman, Dodd and Larson letting them know my outrage, demanded they tell BO not to sign and told them the people won’t stand for rendering the Constitution irrelevant.
Glenn Beck today on his radio show, indicated that he is on this story. They will report soon.
I’m glad he’s on it!
He is absolutely right that a Treaty adopted under the US Constitution is supreme law along with the Constitution and would overrule all mere US legislation to the contrary. However, Lord Monckton missed one vital point, A treaty is not a Treaty under the Constitution until and unless it is ratified by two-thirds of the Senate.
A signing of a treaty by a President does not make it effective. Remember when Al Gore went to Japan and came back praising the Kyoto Treaty? President Clinton might have signed that piece of trash, but the Senate cut him off at the pass by voting 93-7 IIRC, to reject it even before it was submitted for approval.
Even this Senate, infested with the likes of John Kerry, Al Frankin, and Harry Reid, will not muster a 2/3rd vote to ratify the Copenhagen Treaty. If Obama is dumb enough to sign this, it will wind up hurting both him and every Democrat Senator who supports his position.
We are close to the disaster Lord Monckton, but we are not there yet, And we won't be there if Obama signs this. Not quite.
Congressman Billybob
thanks, Rush covered this today. Glenn Beck had him on the radio show. I think will be on his TV show soon, he said for the full hour. We seem to get better information from international sources.
We need to fight this domestic enemy at every turn. Believe NOTHING that this administration or their handmaidens in the MSM tell you. The next few election cycles have to go in the right direction or we're toast.
I agree, enough with balloon boy already. This administration pushes one outrage after another on us and yet so many people act as if nothings wrong.
