Sometimes the fights between “brothers” are fiercer than the fights between two enemies. Sad, but an ancient truth.

But the "kinder and gentler" path to giving up American national sovereignty and personal, popular sovereignty is paved by enemies, not brothers.

I’m not sure I understand your comment, but just to be clear, I would love for all the conservatives and Republicans to work together to save our republic. Just saying. There is a competitive spirit at work, as in New York where there is always a battle for ballot status in a gubernatorial year.
