Yet they all live in the lap of luxury. Go sell what you have, give to the poor & then perhaps I’ll follow your lead.

Exactly! When these elitist scumbags sell their 25 million dollar homes on the Malibu cliffs and start living in $250K houses in Encino *then* I'll believe that they're sincere about helping the less fortunate.Study after study show that the red states are the most generous when giving to charity while a state like Massachusetts, one of the richest (and most Marxist) in the country,is close to being last on the list.

Chicago's former Mayor, Jane Byrne tried something like that once.

"In an effort to demonstrate a commitment to making the complex safer, then Chicago Mayor Jane Byrne moved into a fourth-floor apartment in 1981. Backed by a number of police officers and a substantial personal bodyguard detail, she stayed for only three weeks. This incident, too, contributed to public perception of Cabrini-Green as the worst of the worst of public housing. As a security measure, the rear entryway of the unit Byrne stayed in was welded shut. This had the unforeseen impact of creating a fortification for gang members when Byrne left. Many other gangs copied this technique in other units." source, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabrini-Green
