Not dumb at all. Stories without verifiable sources (names, dates, publications) should NEVER be taken seriously. No matter how much the story might re-enforce what we want to think.

As much as I’d like to pass this story along, and as plausible as it may seem under Obama, I won’t until I have additional sources.
If this is true, someone should be reporting it ~ possibly Bill Gertz?
