President Barack Obama's name was spelt wrongly in an official release from the White House.
Following President Obama's trip to Russia, an official release touting the agreement between the US president and President Dmitry Medvedev over how to craft a follow-up to the START arms reduction treaty was put out.
But the White House claimed the document had been signed by one "Barak Obama" - missing the 'c' from his first name.
Russian and American negotiators salvaged the summit by agreeing the text of a preliminary deal on nuclear disarmament, deflecting fears that the most important element of Mr Obama's two-day visit to Moscow might collapse.
Although the agreement is expected to be largely symbolic, doubts had been raised as to whether it would be signed at all.
Experts estimate that Russia will be unable to sustain an arsenal of more than 500 deployed warheads by 2020.

Well in my house quite a few
Just have them check birth certificate for the correct spelling.
Brack.
Stupid dang Brits.
Don’t they know ebonics when they see it?
Hell, I though it was Ba-lack.
Sack Barak!
I gave “Barak” his own thread.
What is it with this White House making spelling errors for the Russians?
Ping. Here’s another Obama/Soetoro name.
It sounds like one of those mornings in my younger days after a night on the town.
BARACK!!! spit BARAAAAAAAACK!!! spit BARAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!
Did someone really write “spelt wrongly” about a person who spelled Obama’s name incorrectly? The public school system is failing us miserably.
With Obama, who knows if it’s a mistake? He’s gone by Barry, Barak, Barack, or how about Barrack!
They left out the MMMMMM before Barak.
or Baraq.
Those silly Brits!
What’s the name of the guy who occupies the White House?
Brackish 0bamarama makes me feel like the morning after a twisted bender. (Thankfully those are thirty years behind me.)
Some say 0bama’s daddy spelt his name that way.
They spell other names incorrectly as well over at the White House. For example, they spell "Kenya" as "Hawaii"...
