He’s worth $17 billion and could easily finance his own national campaign, he has immense credibility when it comes to economics and he is very ambitious. If we are still in deep economic doo doo in 2012 and the Repubs field a weak candidate, then yes, I could easily see Bloomberg jumping in.
When the history books are written, Obozo will be ranked right up there with Jimmy Carter and Herbert Hoover.

None, because if they can’t win it they will steal it. I fully believe they got many of their votes that way the first time. Plus we ain’t seen nothin’ yet-if we thought he was promising the moon to the “gimme’ voters the first time around, just wait till this next time, where he’s already in position to actually “redistribute” property-and I believe he’ll be more open and blatant about it next time.
That’s one of the worst things about getting a lefty in power-the nation is never able to recover course to the right, as much as it tacked to the left. Margaret Thatcher called it “the ratchet effect”, and I think we can all see truth of her principle since at least FDR.
Bill Clinton can tell us that 43 percent is practically unanimous.
What makes you think that “historians” won’t agree with the Nobel Prize committe and rank him instead with JFK, FDR, and Wilson?
