That, I'm afraid, is a comforting lie. The question with Islam is not whether its adherents want to reach this state, but merely how quickly. Whether by force, or by persuasion. The end state is not really in question.
The real danger is that a government in a state of stout ideology-driven denial will continue to suppress its citizens' rights to speak out against this in favor of some weird multicultural ideal that believe me, the Muslims do not share. That will only force the resolution into violence. It is honestly time for the multicultis to sit down and shut up or they'll find themselves on the wrong side of the barricades when the inevitable happens. Whatever satisfaction the rest of us may take at the prospect of fools getting their just desserts, it would be a tragedy for Great Britain.

That is indeed a lie. Poll after poll in the UK says 25-30% want sharia law there and support violent measures to get it.
