I got a feeling that Daggett is in with Corzine.
Daggett is getting some of Christie's supporters.
I guess Corzine does not think the people remember how Perot helped Clinton in that presidential race.
Perot and Clinton had a closed door meeting and when it was over Perot said he would remain in the race.

I found the following on wikipedia. Even though Daggett worked for Republicans in the 80's he was a Corzine appointment!
Daggett continued to work on environmental issues with Republican and Democratic governors of New Jersey. He was appointed by Governor Jon Corzine as chairman of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Permit Efficiency Task Force. He also works at J.M. Sorge Inc., an environmental consulting firm
