I want to be fair with Obama in 1 topic; he didm’t rushed to declare it oficially as a military coup. That would have killed us in a few days, contrary to Hillary which declared it a coup and threatened to block the mone from the World Bank.
She works for Obama. Her words are his words on these matters.
He didn't repudiate Hitlery's pronouncements, either.
Or, IOW, if he votes “present” long enough, on most issues, sometimes it will seem he wasn't wrong, because it worked out okay in the end.
Not right, but at least not wrong.
What a leader!
HonCitizen,
I recall Obama stating the day of Zelaya’s removal [or the day after the midnight escort] that it was an ‘illegal coup’. IIRC, he was in the WH oval office or some other formal looking room.
At the time, I was shocked that he used the word ‘illegal’. Very imprudent. Hilliary used the term ‘coup’, but tried to hedge or temporize the response. Put her in a difficult position as Barry had already blabbed the ‘illegal coup’ statement.
Anyone else out there recall it this way?
Hip, hip, hooray, BTW, now that the UN has figured out the truth. Probably Zelaya was too nutty acting for them to continue supporting him and his farcical allegation that his removal was unconstitutional.
Our media jumped right in, calling it a coup.
