Let’s all kill ourselves to save the planet. Archbishop, you go first. All the sane Anglicans are looking to the African bishops for leadership, anyway.

Talk about Al Gore's large house and carbon footprint.

What about Lambeth Palace, where the Archbishop of Canterbury lives, with a full staff of servants?

Quite a large carbon footprint, I'd say. Maybe he'd better tear it down and live in a tent.

"Dr. Williams (aka, the Fool) is going to be the death of Christianity in Britain."

Nah. The conservative Anglicans will go back to the Catholic church, the liberals will become Wiccans. I suspect that Queen Elizabeth harbors Catholic sentiments.

Tell the Bish to let us know when his church vaults have been emptied, his church properties sold, and his comfortable perks & income have been reduced to zero, ok?. THEN he can preach about the virtues of poverty.

You may have no idea how many so-called christian preachers, of all denominations, would gladly see millions of innocent men women and chldren starve in the dirt as the price of them feeling morally superior.

This demented fool is one of the more visible, but his buddies pimping poverty on the world are legion. Just consider for starters, the poisonous ideology that goes by the Orwellian name of "social justice," The most evil joke played on the poor since "welfare."

The Arch-druid has spoken and nobody listened.
I am pretty sure if we were in the days of Noah. The Rev Willams would not be picked by God to be Noah. He would be left to drown with the rest of the nimbicles!

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, is such a crazy radical, he could work as an Obama czar!

I wish he was as concerned about preaching the Gospel and obeying all that Christ commanded us, as he is trying to “save the planet.” The Archbishop has never contributed anything to the economy, but he doesn’t mind living off those that do. Maybe he should sell all the cathedrals and chapels in the UK and give the money to the poor? He hardly appears as someone that has ever experienced poverty.
