I continue to be astounded; a hue a cry has not arisen regarding felony imprisonment for failure to buy health insurance. If it’s socially acceptable today (not to purchase health insurance), why should it be a felony after the Baucus bill passes? This is government at its most tyrannical.

But on the plus side, our downtown streets will finally be free of homeless panhandlers, since they won’t be able to afford their premiums, and as a result I’m sure the Feds will swoop in and ferry them straight to jail, right? /sarc

yep, let the drug dealers out of jail, not enough cells, but now they willl have to let the rapists and killers out so those who don’t buy health insurance can move in.

This country has gone crazy.
