Don’t Mormons practice shunning, or some variation? No. We do excommunicate members who commit serious sins and remain unrepentant. But we do not avoid association with excommunicated persons unless they are a danger.

Care to define "danger" in this context?

Not a "official" practice by LDS, but shunning "apostates" is common.

So a homosexual activist group implies that the LDS Church is not doing enough to accommodate homosexuality.

Are you surprised that homosexual activists would say such a thing? Are you inclined to agree with them?
