He did, among his core constituents on the Left.
He lied to everyone else, including religious black Christians who are socially conservative and oppose abortion and same sex relations.
If you weren't there life to witness and you don't subscribe to talk radio, FreeRepublic or to a lesser extent Fox news, how would you know about his Marxist associations?
Regardless, he's not shy about who he is now. He's in our face as he promised. He tells his followers, "they can't stop us" and he believes it.
He's at least giving us a chance to fight.
Unfortunately, most of those "religious black chr*stians" seem to put race ahead of any and all other considerations (though they won't vote for an "uncle tom" like Alan Keyes or Clarence Thomas).
I lost all confidence in the Black church long ago. It's nothing but American Protestantism's domestic Armenian Church--all ethnicity and no theology.
