Please be specific. What law was violated by a failure to properly vet?

This is the point. There is no law saying he has to produce a birth certificate. Without such a law on the books, you can't go back and make someone answer for not doing it. You have to change the law for the future.

The law violated was that he did not show his qualifications. The constitution requires the candidates to be qualified. THAT’S WHAT LAW. The sec of state of cal is required to qualify candidates for the state primary. She failed to do so. THAT’S WHAT LAW! She also took an oath to uphold the state and federal constitutions. THAT’S WHAT LAWS. OOPS, OATH OF OFFICE.

I was going to say supporting and defending the constitution by oath of office, but nufsed beat me to it.
