She won't be paying this donkey @$$ any time soon. Appeal his sanction along with appealing his decision.

If by "donkey @ss" you mean a Democrat, you're wrong-- Judge Land was a conservative Republican State Senator before George W. Bush appointed him a judge on the recommendation of Saxby Chambliss.

And, while the order is appealable, filing an appeal doesn't stop her obligation to pay the fine within 30 days (although she gets it back if she wins the appeal), unless the Court of Appeals grants her a stay.

To clarify my last post to you, Orly can appeal the sanctions order. She can't appeal the dismissal of the underlying case because she no longer represents Captain Rhodes (she moved to withdraw from representing Rhodes, and that motion was granted).
